How to play on this page

1. Press START. If you left a game unfinished, it reopens exactly where you stopped; otherwise a fresh deal is laid out.
2. The bar above the cards shows time, moves and the deal number, plus the Draw 1 / 3 cards switch. The clock starts on your first move, not when the cards appear.
3. Tap a card and it flies to the best legal spot — a foundation first, then a column that still hides face-down cards, then an empty column. Drag when you want to choose the destination yourself. Tap the stock in the top left to turn cards.
4. The toolbar underneath holds Undo (unlimited), Hint (five per deal), Auto-finish, New deal, Today's deal and a #️⃣ deal number button that accepts any number from 1 to 99999. A hint makes both the card and its destination flash. If you ask for a new deal after more than a few moves, the page checks that you really mean it.
5. When all four foundations reach the King, the cards cascade and your time and move count appear. Enter a nickname (up to 12 characters) to submit your time, share the result as a link, or hit Play again.

How Klondike solitaire works

Fifty-two cards are dealt into seven columns of one, two, three… up to seven cards, and only the bottom card of each column starts face up. Your goal is the four foundations in the top right: build each suit from Ace up to King. Inside the columns you stack in descending order with alternating colours — a black six goes on a red seven. Empty columns accept only a King (or a run headed by a King), and any run of face-up cards can be moved as a group. When the face-up card on a column is taken away, the card beneath it flips automatically. Out of moves? Tap the stock in the top left to turn up new cards; when the stock empties, tap again to recycle it as many times as you like.

Draw one versus draw three

There are two ways to play. Draw 1 turns one card at a time, so every card in the deck is reachable — the friendlier version, and the one to learn on. Draw 3 turns three at a time and only the top one is playable, which is the traditional rule and dramatically harder: even a winnable deal can be lost by playing the right cards in the wrong order. Switch between them with the button under the board; changing the mode restarts the same deal number so you can feel the difference on identical cards.

Five tips that actually help

• Dig into the column with the most face-down cards. Hidden cards are the real obstacle; when two moves look equal, take the one that flips a card.
• Don't rush cards to the foundations. Once a card goes up it is hard to bring back. Low cards left in play act as bridges between columns.
• Protect your empty columns. An empty column is both a King's home and a temporary parking spot. Don't fill it with the first King you see.
• Cycle the stock once before committing. Knowing roughly where the key cards sit lets you plan several moves ahead.
• Undo is unlimited. Stuck? Step back, or replay the exact same deal number and try a different order.

Daily deal and deal numbers

Every layout has a number. The daily deal is derived from the date, so everyone in the world gets the same cards that day — perfect for racing a friend on identical odds. You can also type any deal number to summon that exact layout again, which is the best way to study a hand you lost. Finish a game and your time goes on the leaderboard, and you can share the result as a link.

Frequently asked questions

How many hints do I get?

Five per deal. The button shows how many remain, and when they are gone a message says so. A hint prefers a move to a foundation, then a move that flips a face-down card, then a card from the waste, then a plain column-to-column move; if nothing can move it points at the stock to tell you to turn more cards. Hints and undo carry no penalty — only your time is recorded.

What does Auto-finish do?

It is for the end of a game, once every hidden card is face up and the outcome is settled. Press it and any card that can legally go to a foundation — from the waste or the top of a column — is moved up one after another. If nothing qualifies yet, you will see "Not ready to auto-finish yet".

Will I lose my game if I close the tab?

No. Progress is saved in your browser after every move, and the next time you press START the same deal reopens with your time and moves intact. The save is cleared when you win or start a new deal.

When does the daily deal change?

At midnight Korea Standard Time (UTC+9). Until then everyone who opens the page gets the same deal number, so you can compare times fairly. To replay an earlier day, type its deal number with the #️⃣ button.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

By time to solve, in seconds, fastest first, top ten worldwide. No account is needed — just a nickname. Draw 1 and Draw 3 results share the same table, so Draw 1 is the way to go if you are chasing a fast time.
