Cantong is run by one person, so there is no ticket system or live chat. Email is the only channel and the most reliable one. Replies usually go out within two or three days, a little later on weekends or when several new apps are being released at once.

What to write in about

  • Bugs and errors. Tell me which app, which device and browser, what you did and what happened. With that, most problems are reproduced and fixed within a day. A screenshot or screen recording speeds things up.
  • Wrong figures. If a rate, a date or a reference entry (for example in the supplement checker) is wrong, please include a source such as an official page so it can be verified and corrected together with the explanatory text.
  • App ideas. "It would be nice to have a calculator forโ€ฆ" or "this game needsโ€ฆ". Every idea is read, and if it ships you will hear back.
  • Leaderboard removal. Send the nickname you used, the game and the approximate time you posted it. The entry is removed as soon as it is confirmed. If someone else's entry contains abuse or personal information, please report that too.
  • Copyright and likeness. All content on Cantong is original work, but if you believe something infringes your rights, send the URL and the grounds and it will be handled promptly.
  • Advertising, partnerships and press. Same address.

Things worth checking first

  • A file will not process. The image and PDF tools run inside the browser, so very old browsers or devices low on storage can fail. Try again in a current Chrome, Safari or Edge.
  • A score will not submit. More than five submissions per minute from the same connection are held back briefly. Wait a minute and try again.
  • Records disappeared. Personal bests and favorites live in browser storage, so clearing site data or using a private window leaves nothing behind.
  • A shared link does not open. It was probably cut off when copied. Make sure the whole address was pasted.
  • No sound in the pitch or rhythm tests. They only play audio and never record. If the device is muted or the tab is blocked from playing sound, allow it from the address bar.

Every message is read. Not every suggestion can be built, and spam, unsolicited advertising and abusive mail get no reply. Your email address is used only to answer you.
