How to play
The 3ร3 grill is your shop. Tap an empty mold to pour batter and sweet red bean filling; a gauge fills under the mold. Tap while the gauge is in the gold zone to flip, then tap at gold again to take the cake out into your stock. Miss the zone and it burns โ tap to toss it. Customers line up at the top: tap one to sell them what they ordered. On desktop, keys 1โ9 work the grill like the classic phone game.
Step by step
- Press OPEN SHOP. After an "OPEN FOR BUSINESS!" banner the empty 3ร3 grill appears, and the first customer soon arrives in one of the three slots at the top.
- Tap an empty mold (marked +) and a kettle pours the batter. The progress bar under the mold fills grey, and when it enters the gold zone near the end the mold's border pulses yellow with a ๐ mark. Tap then to flip.
- The second side cooks faster. When the bar hits gold again and shows โ, tap to take the cake out. It joins your stock strip, with a sparkle if it's a โญperfect one.
- Each customer card shows how many they want ("ร2") and a patience bar. With stock on hand, tap the customer to sell as many as they need in one go; the amount pops up ("+2,400"). A fully served customer leaves and frees the slot.
- A customer whose patience runs out leaves angry and you lose one โค. Lose all three and it's "Closing time!" โ the result screen tallies cakes sold, perfects, burnt, customers served and best combo.
Tips for bigger sales
- Protect your combo. Every cake baked without burning adds a per-cake bonus. One burnt cake resets it.
- Hit the center of the gold zone for a โญperfect cake that sells at a higher price.
- Fast service means tips. The more patience a customer has left, the more they pay โ keep stock ready.
- Don't pour all nine at once. They'll all hit golden at the same time and you'll burn half. Stagger your pours.

So one cake is worth anywhere from 800 to 2,000. A three-cake order sold at a 10-combo, all perfect, the moment the customer arrives brings 6,000; the same three cakes sold late, regular, with no combo bring 2,400. The leaderboard ranks total sales, so quality and speed count for more than volume. Stock is sold oldest first.
What changes as the level rises
The level goes up every 22 seconds of play, to a maximum of 12, and each level-up pauses the game briefly behind a "LEVEL n" banner. At level 1 the first side takes 4.4 seconds to cook and the gold zone lasts 2.1 seconds; every level trims 0.2 s from the cook and 0.1 s from the zone until, from level 11, the cook is 2.4 s and the zone 1.05 s. The second side always cooks in 72% of the first side's time. Customers arrive about every 7 seconds and wait 28 seconds at first, but late on they come every 2.8 seconds and wait only 15; orders grow from 1โ2 cakes to up to 3 from level 4, 4 from level 7 and 5 from level 10.
Frequently asked questions
How is a โญperfect judged?
The game measures how far from the center of the gold zone you tapped for the flip and again for the take-out, and averages the two. Both taps near the middle (within 55% of the zone's half-width) give a perfect; one tap at the very edge usually drops it to regular. A precise flip lets you get away with a slightly late take-out.
What if I tap before it's cooked?
You just see "Not cooked yet!" and nothing happens โ no penalty, so tapping early is harmless. Letting the bar run past the gold zone, though, burns the cake instantly, resets your combo, and the mold stays blocked until you tap once to toss it.
How much stock should I keep?
The stock strip shows up to eight icons but there is no limit. Because the tip depends on how quickly you serve after a customer arrives, the best pattern is to bake three to five cakes while the queue is empty and sell the instant someone shows up.
Can I pause?
Yes โ press space or the Pause button. Cooking timers and customer patience both stop, and Resume picks up where you left off. On desktop the number badges on the molds match keys 1โ9. Any run with 100 or more in sales, i.e. one cake sold, can be submitted to the leaderboard with a nickname.
