Ten-throw total

Your best: -

A full-size board: twenty beds, treble and double rings, 50 in the bull. You throw by tapping a sweeping line twice, so there is no shake and no randomness — your total over ten throws is the score.

How to throw

  1. Press START: a lime vertical line sweeps across the board. Tap to lock the horizontal position.
  2. A horizontal line then sweeps up and down. Tap again and the dart flies to that point.
  3. The score pops up and the dart stays in the board, so you can see where your throws are grouping.
  4. After ten throws your total is the score. One dart is worth at most 60 (treble 20), so a perfect card is 600.

Where to aim

Beginners go for the bull; players go for treble 20, the thin ring at twelve o'clock. The catch is that 20 is flanked by 1 and 5, so a miss drops you to a single digit. The 19 and 16 region at the bottom is surrounded by 7, 3 and 17, which keeps a bad throw respectable. Since the score is a ten-throw total, consistency beats one big arrow.

Tips

  • The line really does slow at the edges. It moves on a sine curve, so the outer beds are easy to hit and the centre passes fastest — which is the honest reason the bull is hard.
  • Get the across right first. A slightly off vertical still scores the same bed, but a slightly off horizontal changes the bed entirely.
  • Tap to a rhythm. Reacting to what you see is already too late; the sweep is a steady 1.45 seconds, so count the beat and hit it.

Scoring and the leaderboard

Your score is the ten-throw total, higher is better. The sweep speed and range are identical in every game and never change between throws — the point is to leave timing skill and nothing else. Twenty or more can be posted, one row per signed-in account.

Frequently asked questions

It does not land where I aimed

There is no wobble and no random spread; the dart lands exactly where the line was when you tapped. Human reaction adds 0.1–0.2 s though, so if you tap when you see the right spot, the line has already moved past it. Tap slightly early.

Is treble 20 always the play?

Only if you hit it. Real players move to the 19s when the 20 is not landing, for the same reason: a total punishes zeros more than it rewards one big score.

Does my device matter?

The board and the sweep scale with the screen, so difficulty is identical. Low input latency helps a fraction.
