Terms of Use
In short: use everything freely, treat results as a reference, and anything that bothers other people gets removed.
1. Scope
These terms apply to every game, tool, test and piece of information (the "Service") offered at cantong.app and its paths, including /en/ and /ja/. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
2. Nature of the Service
- Cantong is a free service run by an individual. There are no accounts or payments, and every feature is available to everyone on the same conditions.
- The Service is provided "as is". The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or identical results on every device.
- Features may be added, changed or discontinued without notice. When an app is discontinued, its leaderboard records may be deleted with it.
3. Results are for reference
- Calculators (percentages, tax, subscription costs, GPA, BMI, day counts and others) are reference tools built from published rules. Actual figures may differ with personal circumstances, institutional rules or interpretation, and no result has legal or tax effect. Confirm important decisions with a professional or the relevant institution.
- Health-related information (supplement interactions, pet food safety, BMI and calories) is general information and does not replace medical diagnosis or advice.
- Fortune-style content (face reading, palm reading, zodiac, the answer book and similar) is entertainment based on traditional interpretations. The operator accepts no responsibility for decisions made on the basis of such results.
- Perception tests (reaction time, hearing age, color vision, dynamic vision and others) depend heavily on the device, screen and speakers and are not medical examinations.
4. Content you create
Leaderboard nicknames, puzzles you create for friends, Would You Rather votes, wheel and ladder entries and any other text you enter that other people can see must not contain:
- real names, contact details, addresses or other personal information, yours or anyone else's;
- abuse, hate speech, sexual content or attacks on a specific person;
- advertising, promotional text or external links;
- material that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
Content that breaks these rules may be removed or blocked without notice. You are responsible for what you enter.
5. Copyright
- All content on Cantong, including games, graphics, explanatory text, calculation logic and design, is the copyright of the operator.
- Personal, non-commercial use, sharing links, and featuring the site in screenshots or videos are all free. A mention of cantong.app as the source is appreciated.
- Copying or mirroring whole pages, extracting source code or data for another service, and redistributing Cantong's output as your own service are prohibited.
- Things you make with the tools (result cards, QR codes, converted images and PDFs) are yours to use freely.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Calling the leaderboard, puzzle or other APIs repeatedly with automated tools
- Exploiting vulnerabilities or interfering with normal operation
- Tampering with other users' records or impersonating them
- Circumventing or manipulating ads to generate improper revenue
Access may be restricted, for example by IP, in response to violations.
7. Third-party services
The Service includes third-party services such as Google AdSense (advertising), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics) and jsDelivr (web fonts and libraries). Their terms and data handling follow their own policies, and the operator is not responsible for their outages or policy changes. See the privacy policy for details.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for direct or indirect damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, including data loss, decisions based on a calculated result or device problems. File tools never send your originals off your device, but please keep a backup of anything important before processing it.
9. Changes to these terms
Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Questions about them can be sent to the address on the contact page.
