A rhythm game in the spirit of the old feature-phone minigames: tap in time with a rope that keeps coming around. The moon bunny stands still while the rope turns. Be in the air when it passes your feet and that is one jump; trip and the run ends. That is the whole rule, yet the rope keeps speeding up and, past 15 jumps, double-speed turns arrive with a warning, so fifty is a real achievement. Free, no install or sign-up, leaderboard by jumps.
How to play
- Press โถ START and the rope begins to turn. The first turn is slightly slow so you can find the beat.
- Tap (Space, โ or W on a keyboard) as the rope swings down to your feet. The jump lasts about 0.4 s, so slightly early is fine.
- The beat bar at the bottom fills exactly when the rope reaches your feet. Watching the bar is easier than watching the rope at first.
- After 15 jumps the rope occasionally turns pink: the next turn will be twice as fast, so get ready to jump sooner.
- When you trip, the result shows your count. Five or more can be posted with a nickname, and Share result copies a link.
Tips
- No jumping while airborne. You cannot pre-jump, so it is one jump per turn, just before the rope reaches your feet.
- Each jump speeds the rope up by about 1%. Around 40 jumps a turn takes half the original time. Counting out loud helps.
- Pink is a warning. The pink turn itself is normal speed; the one after is fast. Prepare the next jump the moment you clear the pink rope.
FAQ
When does it get hard?
Around 30 jumps the rope is hard to follow by eye, and once double turns appear you have to jump by prediction rather than reaction. Past 50 is top-tier.
