How to use it
- In the left card, tap every service you pay for. Each one drops into the table on the right and the monthly total updates immediately. Tap again to remove it.
- For services with several tiers โ Netflix, Disney+, iCloud+, Google One โ pick your actual plan from the plan dropdown in the table. You can also click the price cell and type the exact amount from your statement.
- If you are billed yearly or weekly, change the cycle from /mo to /yr or /wk. The monthly equivalent appears in small print under the name.
- Anything not in the list โ HOA dues, a meal kit, a newspaper โ goes in the Add your own row at the bottom with a name, price and cycle.
- Tick Unused next to services you have not opened in a while. They are struck through, dropped from the total, and a separate box shows what cancelling them would save per month and per year.
- Copy result puts the whole list and totals on your clipboard as text; Share result creates a link to a card showing your monthly total and count; Clear wipes the list.
Subscription calculator: how much do I spend on subscriptions?
Each one costs less than lunch, but ten of them add up to $100+ a month and well over $1,000 a year. Auto-renewals slip by unnoticed, and once you mix in annual plans, free trials that quietly converted and family plans you split, almost nobody knows the true number. Tap the services you pay for and this calculator shows your monthly, yearly and per-day cost right away. Switch a plan from the dropdown, edit any price, or add something that isn't in the list.
How the totals are worked out
The headline figure is the sum of monthly equivalents: monthly prices as they are, yearly prices divided by 12, weekly prices multiplied by 52 and divided by 12. The yearly figure is the monthly total ร 12, the daily figure is the yearly total รท 365, and for a sense of scale the monthly total is also shown as a number of $5 coffees. For example, Netflix Standard $17.99 + Spotify Premium $11.99 + Amazon Prime $14.99 + iCloud+ 200GB $2.99 comes to $47.96 a month, $575.52 a year, $1.58 a day โ about 9.6 coffees. Items marked Unused are excluded from the total and summed separately as potential savings. Everything is shown to the cent.
What is in the preset list
Presets are grouped into eight categories โ Streaming, Music, Shopping, AI & Work, Cloud, Reading, Gaming and Living โ with typical 2026 U.S. monthly prices already filled in. The Living group deliberately includes non-subscription fixed costs such as a phone plan, internet and a gym membership, so you can see your real monthly commitments in one number.

Find and cancel unused subscriptions
Check Unused next to anything you haven't opened in a while. The calculator strikes it out and shows exactly how much you would save per month and per year by cancelling it. A quick way to spot them: scroll your card or bank statement for the last two months and look for names you don't recognize, then search your inbox for "your subscription has renewed". App Store, Google Play, PayPal and Amazon each have a subscriptions page where you can cancel in a couple of taps.
Ways to lower your monthly subscription cost
- Rotate streaming services โ don't keep Netflix, Max, Disney+ and Hulu running at once. Subscribe for the month a show you want drops, then cancel; you keep access until the billing period ends.
- Take the ad-supported tier โ Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Max and Peacock all sell ad plans at roughly a third to half the price of premium. That's $100+ a year per service.
- Pay annually โ annual billing is usually 15โ20% cheaper than monthly for tools you know you'll keep (cloud storage, password managers, music).
- Use bundles and family plans โ Disney+/Hulu/Max bundles, Spotify and YouTube Premium family plans, and Apple One cut the per-person cost sharply.
- Check what your phone or credit card already includes โ many carriers and cards throw in Netflix, Apple TV+, Peacock or Walmart+.

Preset prices are typical 2026 U.S. list prices for the standard individual monthly plan. Promotions, bundles, taxes and regional pricing will differ, so edit any figure in the table and the totals update instantly. Your list is saved only in this browser โ nothing is sent to a server, and there is no sign-up.
Frequently asked questions
The price shown is not what I am charged
Presets are list prices for one common plan. If you are on a promotional rate, a grandfathered plan or a bundle, click the price cell and type what your statement actually shows. For services with a plan dropdown, pick the plan first and then adjust the price if it still differs.
I split a family plan โ how do I enter my share?
Enter only what you personally pay. Add the service with its chip and overwrite the price with your share, or use the Add-your-own row with a name like "Spotify family (my share)".
I am not in the U.S. โ can I still use it?
Yes. The math is plain addition, so type your local prices into the table and read the totals in your own currency; only the preset amounts and the dollar sign are U.S.-specific. Adding your own items works the same way in any currency.
Where is my list stored, and why is it gone on my other phone?
The list lives in this browser's local storage only. Clearing site data or pressing Clear removes it, and it does not sync between devices or browsers. If you want to keep a record, use Copy result and paste the text into a note.
What does the share link contain?
Only your monthly total and the number of active subscriptions. The names and individual prices are not included in the link โ use Copy result if you want to send the full list.
