How to use it
- Pick a category chip โ Stars & hearts, Arrows, Check & cross, Shapes, Math & units, Circled numbers, Box drawing, emoji โ or type a name into the search box: star, heart, arrow, check, degree, and so on.
- Tap any symbol and it is copied to your clipboard immediately. It also drops into the Collected tray above the grid, so you can gather several and hit Copy all to paste them together.
- Hover, or long-press on a phone, to see the symbol's name. Your last twelve symbols stay in the Recent chip on this browser only.
- Paste (Ctrl+V or โV) into Instagram, Discord, Excel, Word, a game chat โ anywhere that accepts text.

Typing symbols from the keyboard
On Windows, hold Alt and type a code on the numeric keypad: Alt+0176 gives ยฐ, Alt+0169 ยฉ, Alt+0153 โข, Alt+3 โฅ, Alt+16 โบ, Alt+0128 โฌ. It only works with a real numpad and only for a few hundred characters. Win + . opens the emoji and symbol picker, which also has a Symbols tab. On a Mac, Ctrl + Cmd + Space opens the Character Viewer; Option-key combinations give ยฐ (Option+Shift+8), ยฉ (Option+G), โข (Option+2), โฌ (Option+Shift+2). On phones, hold a key on the on-screen keyboard to see its variants, or switch to the #+= / ?123 layer. For everything else, copying from here is faster.
Blank and invisible characters
Some apps refuse an empty display name. The Blank & invisible group has characters that look like nothing: the Hangul filler (ใ ค) and the braille blank (โ ) pass most filters that strip ordinary spaces, the ideographic space (ใ) is a real wide space for spacing words, and the zero-width space (U+200B) has no width at all โ handy for breaking auto-links or padding a length limit. They are copied even though you cannot see them; check the character count in the tray. Apps may block them after an update.
Drawing tables with lines
Combine โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โค โฌ โด โผ to draw a table in a text editor, a Discord code block or a game chat. Heavy (โ โ โ), double (โ โ โ) and rounded (โญ โฎ โฐ โฏ) variants are included. The lines only align in a monospace font; in a proportional font the verticals drift, so keep it to a simple divider there. Shade blocks (โ โ โ โ) make decent progress bars.
Why some symbols show as boxes
Every symbol here is a Unicode code point. Your device draws it with whatever installed font contains it; if none does, you get a box (โก) or a question mark. Old symbols like โ โก โ โ render everywhere, while emoji added after 2020 (๐ซถ ๐ซฐ) can break on older phones. For anything important, stick to the classic symbols.
FAQ
Copying does nothing
The browser blocked clipboard access. Allow it from the padlock icon in the address bar, or select the text in the tray and copy manually. Some in-app browsers block the clipboard API entirely โ open the page in Chrome or Safari instead.
It pasted as a different character in Excel or Word
The font in that cell lacks the glyph, so it fell back. Select the character and switch to a symbol-rich font such as Segoe UI Symbol or Noto Sans Symbols.
Can I use these commercially?
The characters themselves are free for anyone to use. Emoji artwork, however, belongs to each platform (Apple, Google, Samsung), so printing a screenshot of an emoji on merchandise is a separate question. Text use is fine.
