What animal do I look like? Pick one photo and we read the proportions of your eyes, nose, mouth and jaw to match you with one of 12 animal faces โ dog, cat, fox, bear, rabbit, deer and more โ with the percentage split between your top two. The photo is processed in your browser and stored nowhere.
How to use it
- Choose a photo โ pick one from your library or take a selfie; on a computer you can drag a file onto the box. The face engine (about 4 MB) downloads once, and the photo is shrunk to 1024 pixels on its long side and processed on your device.
- Reading the face โ green dots sweep down the face for one second while 468 landmarks are located and the proportion metrics are computed. If your head is turned a lot, a note says a straight-on photo would read better.
- Results โ your top animal's card (tagline, a short character reading and three keywords), a donut and bar showing the split between first and second place, a small thumbnail of your photo with the landmarks drawn over it, and two "best match" chips. Tap a chip to preview that animal's card.
- Share, save, retry โ "Share result" makes a link carrying only the animal's name; "Save image" renders the card. "Another photo" returns to the start, and "See all 12 animal faces" on the first screen opens any animal's card.
How an animal face is decided
An animal face is a combination, not a single feature. Round eyes with downturned corners read as a dog face; the same round eyes on a short face with a tiny nose become a rabbit face; long lifted eyes with a pointed chin become a fox face. The test finds 468 landmarks on your face, computes face length, eye size and tilt, spacing between the eyes, nose length and width, mouth width, lip thickness and jaw angle, then scores how well the pattern matches each of the 12 animals. The highest score is your animal, the runner-up is your second, and the gap between them becomes your percentage.
What each animal looks for
Every animal has a set of metrics it wants high or low, and your score for that animal rises the more your photo points the same way. The table lists the traits that weigh most for each one.

The split between first and second place comes from the gap between their scores and always lands between 51% and 95%. Two nearly equal scores show as 51:49; a runaway winner shows as 95:5. The verdict does not depend on language โ the same photo gives the same animal in Korean, English and Japanese; only the names change.

Animal face matches
The "best matches" on your result are pairs whose impressions complete each other โ the one who approaches and the one who receives (dog and cat), the one who protects and the one who brightens (bear and rabbit). Try it with a friend or partner and swap result links.
What happens to my photo
Everything runs on your device. The face model (Google MediaPipe) is downloaded into your browser and computed right there; nothing is sent to a server. The share link contains only the animal name, never the photo.
How to get an accurate read
- Face the camera with your face filling at least half the frame.
- Daylight or a bright room, neutral or slightly smiling.
- Keep bangs, glasses and masks from covering the brows and jaw.
Frequently asked questions
My animal changes from photo to photo โ which one is right?
Expression and angle move the metrics. A big smile narrows the eyes and pushes the score toward fox or snake; a shot from below widens the jaw and leans toward bear or dinosaur. The animal that keeps coming back across two or three neutral, straight-on photos is your base type, and the one that keeps landing in second place is the face your expressions bring out.
My top animal is only 60% โ is the result unclear?
Not unclear; it means two animals' traits are both present. At 60% the runner-up's features are there at 40%, and passing 90% takes a wide score gap, which only happens when one animal's traits stand alone.
Are men and women judged differently?
No. Neither sex nor age is asked; only facial proportions are read, so the same proportions give the same animal for anyone.
Can I use a group photo?
One face per photo is analyzed. With several people in the frame only one is picked up, so use a solo photo or crop tightly to one face.
