Moon Bunny Jump is a free vertical jumper in the spirit of the classic feature-phone minigame: a little moon bunny bounces upward on its own, and all you do is steer left and right from cloud to cloud. White clouds bounce, grey ones crumble, pink spring pads launch you sky-high — and some clouds are fakes made of cotton candy that melt away when the rain comes. No download, no sign-up, and your best height in metres goes on the global top 10.

How to play

1. Press ▶ START on the title screen. The title also shows the global top 10 and your own best height.
2. On a keyboard use the ←/→ arrows or A/D; on a phone, hold your finger on the left or right half of the screen to drift that way. Jumping is automatic — there is no jump button.
3. Every cloud you land on bounces you higher and the view scrolls up with you. The HUD at the top shows your current height (m), your best, and how many showers you have been through.
4. Every so often the sky darkens and lightning flashes. Rain follows and the fake clouds drip away, so make sure you are standing on a real one. When the rain stops you are safe again.
5. Drop off the bottom of the screen and the run ends. The result screen shows your height plus "n clouds bounced · n showers · n clouds melted". Hit Play again to go straight back in.
6. Reached 10 m or more? Type a nickname (up to 12 characters) and press Submit to post to the global top 10 — your rank shows immediately. Share result sends a link carrying your height through your device's share sheet, or copies it.

Cloud types and rules

There are five kinds of cloud. Learn their looks and you can pick a landing spot at a glance.

White cloud	The ordinary cloud. Land on it and you bounce.
Moving cloud	Pale blue with arrows on it. It slides left and right but bounces normally. Higher up, it moves faster.
Grey cloud	Crumbles the moment you touch it — no bounce, you just keep falling. Look for the next cloud before you land.
Spring cloud	A cloud with a pink pad on top. Launches you far higher than a normal bounce, skipping several rows at once.
Fake cloud	Made of cotton candy — a faint pink that looks a lot like a sparkling white cloud, and it bounces normally in dry weather. When rain falls it melts over about a second, dripping pink droplets, and once it is half gone you can no longer stand on it.

• Rain first arrives around 32 m, then every 30–60 m, and the intervals get shorter the higher you climb. The warning and lightning last about 1.6 seconds, then it rains for 4.5 seconds. No fake clouds spawn while it is raining.
• Balloons (🎈 yellow) occasionally sit on clouds from about 25 m up. Touch one and you float upward for 1.6 seconds.
• The higher you go, the wider the gaps, the narrower the clouds, and the more fakes and grey clouds you meet. Safe clouds (white, moving, spring) are always placed within reach; fakes and grey clouds are extras scattered in between, so there is always a route.
• Leave the screen on the left edge and you reappear on the right, and vice versa. Wrapping around is often the fastest way to a far-off cloud.
• The sky shifts with altitude from daytime blue through sunset to a starry night, with faint background clouds drifting past. The bunny's face changes too — calm, surprised, scared, ouch.
• Your score is simply your best height in metres; one screen is roughly 16 m. Falling ends the run, and the leaderboard lives on the title screen, not the play screen.

Tips for climbing higher

• Stay near the middle. Clouds appear anywhere across the width, and from the centre either side is a short trip.
• When the rain warning appears, head for a moving cloud or a spring cloud. Neither can be fake. If the white cloud you are on looks suspiciously sparkly, you have about 1.6 seconds of lightning to move.
• Plan the landing after a spring. A big launch is only useful if there is a cloud under you on the way down — line yourself up at the top of the arc.
• Treat grey clouds as air. Aim for the white cloud beside them instead.
• On a phone, use one thumb. Two fingers at once tend to cancel each other out; tapping the left and right halves alternately with one thumb is more precise.
• Balloons are a bonus, not a goal. Grab one if it is on your way, but do not detour across a gap for it.

FAQ

How do I tell a fake cloud from a real one?

Fakes are a faint pink and sparkle a little, but they are close enough to white clouds to fool you at speed. When in doubt, be on a white, moving or spring cloud when the rain warning shows. Once the rain stops, fakes are safe to bounce on again until the next shower.

When does it rain?

The first shower comes around 32 m, later ones every 30–60 m, more often the higher you get. Each shower lasts 4.5 seconds after the 1.6-second warning. The "Rain" counter in the HUD tallies how many you have been through.

Why do I come out on the other side of the screen?

The left and right edges are joined. Instead of hitting a wall you wrap around, which is handy for reaching a cloud on the far side.

What do balloons do?

A yellow balloon lifts you upward for 1.6 seconds without needing a cloud. They only start appearing from about 25 m.

How is the score calculated, and when can I post to the leaderboard?

Score is your best height in metres — nothing else counts. Climb at least 10 m and the result screen lets you enter a nickname of up to 12 characters to post to the global top 10. Your personal best is saved in this browser. When a friend opens your shared link they see your height card and a button to try it themselves, and starting from that link shows "Friend's height n m — beat it!" so your record becomes their target.

Is there sound?

No — the game is silent. Rain is announced only by the darkening sky and the lightning, so it is fine to play on the train or in a library.
