Moon Bunny Dash

Run across the moon forever. Hop the rocks, but never jump at a shooting star. One button, that is it

  • โ‘  The bunny runs by itself. Tap, Space or โ†‘ to jump, hold to jump higher
  • โ‘ก Hop over the grey rocks. Yellow shooting stars fly at head height, so jumping into one hurts. Just run under them
  • โ‘ข Jump into a โญ for a 5 m bonus
  • โ‘ฃ Hit anything and the run ends. Distance (m) leaderboard, and it keeps speeding up

Tripped on a rock!

0m

A one-button endless runner in the spirit of the tiny feature-phone minigames of the 2000s. The moon bunny runs across the lunar surface on its own; all you do is time the jumps. Grey rocks must be hopped, but the yellow shooting stars fly at head height, so the right move is to stay on the ground and run under them. Same button, and every obstacle asks whether to press it or not. Free, no install or sign-up, with a distance leaderboard.

How to play

  1. Press โ–ถ START on the title screen and the bunny starts running. The title also shows the global top 10 and your best.
  2. On a keyboard use Space or the โ†‘ key (W works too); on a phone tap anywhere on the screen. Hold to jump higher and farther, tap briefly for a low hop.
  3. Two kinds of obstacle: grey rocks on the ground that you jump over, and yellow shooting stars at head height that you must not jump into. Keep running and they pass over you.
  4. A โญ floating in the sky is worth 5 m if you jump into it. The HUD shows distance, your best, stars collected and the current speed level.
  5. Touch anything and the run ends. The result screen shows distance, stars and top speed level, with a Play again button.
  6. Runs of 10 m or more can be posted with a nickname (up to 12 characters). Share result copies a link with your distance in it.

Rules and tips

  • Score = distance in metres + 5 m per star. One screen width is about 10 m. Speed rises through six levels as you go, and gaps between obstacles shrink, but the game always leaves enough room to land and jump again, so there is no impossible layout.
  • Jump late for rocks, never for shooting stars. A rock can be cleared from right in front of it, and jumping early risks landing on the next one. A shooting star cannot touch a bunny standing on the ground.
  • Double rocks need one long jump. After about 80 m rocks start coming in pairs. One held jump clears both more safely than two short ones.
  • Stars are a bonus, not a goal. Most runs end by jumping for a star straight into a shooting star. If a star is coming, skip the โญ.
  • The hitbox is a little smaller than the drawing, so grazing an ear tip does not count.

FAQ

Is there a double jump?

No. You cannot jump again in mid-air; height is controlled by how long you hold. That makes the moment you press the whole game.

How do I avoid the shooting stars?

Do not jump. They pass above a standing bunny, so the only way to get hit is to jump into one.

Where are records stored?

Your best stays in this browser. The global leaderboard stores only a nickname and a distance. There is no account.
