A timing game borrowed from the East Asian tale of the rabbit pounding rice cakes on the moon. A rice cake swings above the tower; one tap drops it, and only the part that overlaps the cake below survives while the overhang breaks off and tumbles away. Every miss makes the next cake thinner, so one sloppy stretch ends the run fast, but a near-perfect drop grows the cake back. Free, no install or sign-up, with a leaderboard by floors.

How to play

1. Press ▶ START. The first rice cake sits on the ground and a new one swings above it. The moon bunny stands on the top cake.
2. On a keyboard use Space, ↑ or Enter; on a phone tap anywhere. The cake drops from where it is at that instant and lands a moment later. The bunny hops up onto it.
3. Only the overlap with the cake below stays. The overhang is sliced off and falls, and the next cake comes out with the remaining width, so every miss makes the tower thinner.
4. Drop it almost exactly centred for a PERFECT: nothing is cut, the cake widens slightly (up to half the screen) and the combo continues.
5. Miss completely, with no overlap, and the whole cake falls: game over. The result shows floors, perfects and the width of the last cake. From 3 floors you can post a score.

Rules and tips

• Speed. Each floor speeds the swing up a little; around floor 25 it is more than twice the starting speed. The starting side alternates left and right every floor.
• Count the centre crossings. The swing is a steady back-and-forth, so watching two passes tells you when it crosses the centre. Chasing it with your eyes is too slow.
• When it is thin, only go for PERFECT. A thin cake barely survives even a small miss. Wait a swing if you have to and drop only on the exact beat; a perfect restores width.
• The view follows the tower upward, and the floor count is shown large in the top right.

FAQ

How precise does PERFECT have to be?

Within 2% of the screen width of the centre of the cake below, roughly 8 pixels on a phone. Rhythm beats eyesight here.

Can a thin cake get wide again?

Yes. Each PERFECT adds 1.2% of the screen width, capped at half the screen. A few in a row restore it quickly.
